Terms & Conditions
Deposit, application form and signed Terms and Conditions to be sent to Enterprise Ownership Bosts to secure shares. Balance or stage payments will be required as requested.
Yearly fee to cover insurance, licence, moorings, breakdown service, maintenance and administration charges to be paid on completion of boat and thereafter on 1st January in each year. Yearly fees will range from £350 - £550 depending on type/size of boat.
All participants will be vetted by Enterprise Ownership Boats.
All shareholders must undergo a one or two day training course run by Wildcat Enterprises to gain the RYA Inland Waterways Helmsmans Certificate.
Four weeks cruising [narrowboats] and three weeks cruising [river boats] will be allocated per share per year.
Shareholders will be responsible for cleaning boat inside and out, emptying loos, and leaving diesel and water tanks full at end of their cruise.
Gas cylinder replenishment to be the responsibility of Enterprise Ownership Boats. This cost to be included in yearly fee.
All breakages/damage to be reported immediately to Enterprise Ownership Boats.
All repairs to be the responsibility of Enterprise Ownership Boats. No shareholder to undertake any repair at any time unless specifically asked to do so by Enterprise Ownership Boats.
Any problems or disagreements must be brought to the attention of Enterprise Ownership Boats, who will decide whether to call a meeting of all shareholders to discuss the matter.
Shares must be sold through Enterprise Ownership Boats, who will vet all new applicants.
Whilst every endeavour will be made by Enterprise Ownership Boats to maintain the cruising viability of the boat, shareholders must understand that circumstances beyond our control may make it impossible for the boat to run on a particular date.
Two weeks each year will be set aside for painting, repairs and engine maintenance.
Enterprise Ownership Boats to be responsible for routine engine maintenance.
Boats to be taken over on Saturday afternoon and returned by Friday evening.
